Reflecting, Learning, and Collaborating in Times of Crisis

As we conclude our past teach-in series on Pedagogy and Crisis, the Culture and Crisis Collective invites you to join us for a discussion of the difficult events of the past summer: the identification of mass graves at residential schools; fires raging in the west; many people in our city who are without housing; ongoing pandemic isolation that is intensified by social conflict.

We hope together to begin thinking about how to teach and learn in these circumstances; how to teach and learn about these circumstances; how to engage in the work of social justice both in the classroom and outside of it when we feel little hope.

This conversation will be exploratory and open-ended—an opportunity to see each other, reflect, share our thoughts, ideas, and feelings.

To that end, please join us on Tuesday evening, September 14 from 7-8:30.
